Hay all,
Just a quick note on sandblasting your truck. Have you checked the yellow
pages locally to find a sandblasting company? Or a rental to rent one? I
have it made here in Chicago we have a nationally located company near my
house (less than 5 miles). Took my truck (frame, with body attached,
fenders and hood and other body parts bungied to the inside of the cab)
after removing everything I did not want to be stripped and the cost was
under $400. They also put a coating to protect it from rust as it starts to
form after you blast metal.
Check out your local areas for one. Much less heartache and less stress on
your lungs as previously stated. As far as small parts look at a benchtop
model, I have the biggest bench top model from Eastwood, and it works
fantastic, other than replacing the glass from trying to teach my son and
turn him loose it works fantastic.
