It gets cold here, but not -40º. And certainly no weeks on end deep freezes like
you get, but the coldest I have seen it near Flagstaff Arizona where I lived was
-32º with no more space to push the plowed up snow. And it won't get that cold
here except on rareoccasions, even though I am almost another 1,000 feet higher.
Mostly it will get to zero or -10º, but not for long. It can snow 16 feet or
more
in a good winter, but it melts fast unlike. The biggest thing here is maybe not
the cold, but the extreme temperature swing from night and day which can be
40º! I
am thinking seriously about using the fiberglass stuff in the concrete. Might
save me a lot work. thanks everyone for the input.
