Hans,

I don't want to get rid of the switch, just get it out to fix or replace.
Haven't been able to get at it to remove it.  It's pretty tight where it's
located and I wondered if the springy wire that I feel from the bottom of
the switch is related to getting it out.  I have replaced my headlight
switch and that one I got out with a screw driver and lots of contortions
and not a small amount of blood.  The metal bracing that holds the radio
console in place is really in the way to see or feel much.
