I have the same problem - Is it possible (or desirable) to have wires
sand blasted and chrome plated?
Would blasting weaken them?
I hve spent literally weeks trying to strip and sand just one wheel and
its still not ready - good job its a spare
all experience on this one lapped up with alacrity
