Jim, Yes, no thick washer to hold on the balancer. I called the shop that put it on and he talked me through the same conclusion. It's hard to believe I've driven 1,000 miles and I've been lucky enough that the balancer didn't slide forward into the radiator. Whew. So now it should be an easy fix - go find a thick washer that fits and I'll be back on the road tonight. Thanks for the help. Rick |
