Hey All,,
I use an 8 inch ford mustang limited slip rear in my V8. It
blows oil out of something awful. It's not even filled up to the plug hole
either. It has the normal B ends on it. The vent is in the normal spot that
the old B rear used too. Is this a problem?
Also,, the rear clunks every now and then? (U-Joints Are tight)
Any ideas?
On the Rover 3.5,, can I change the old rope seal easy enough
with the engine in the car? Is it common for them to start leaking? And what
sounds like a bearing knock,, besides a bearing in these engines? I have
heard the cams make this kind of sound too? I know some of these may seem
silly,, But I am new to the Rover.
           In case your wondering,, it's a 1971 3.5 Rover.
Thanks for Any Help you have
Jim Brucato
