Hi, I'm probably too late with this, but it sounds to me as though your new pilot (spigot) bearing is too tight. You said everything was fine originally but now the first motion shaft is spinning all the time the engine is running. I gave up changing those bearings years ago because it wasn't really necessary. If you have a good 140 oil then you've also got a speck of dirt that's keeping things spinning. Cheers, "Bob".
