Before I read anything Else.... Howard.... I don't want to change anything
at all...I respect your desire to keep things the way they were.... I agree
with you on the opposite direction thing.... I don't agree on the qualifing
pass as it's one of those things that someone stuck in there Later on to
make getting in the Two Club harder... Someone out there give me a History
Lesson on record setting .... because in 1956 Donald Healey set a Record
with a Two Way average and there is NO discussion in all the written
documents on a Qualifing pass.

This is Not making it easier...it's NOT putting folks in the Bonneville Two
Club...( thou they have opened the door for that discussion also).... To the
Best of my knowledge at Maxton it's happened exactly 4 times that someone
has run over the Bonneville record..... Has anyone Ever run over the Bville
record at El Mirage? How bout Lake Gairdner?

As I said in the begining.... I actually want to further the SCTA and
Bonneville records... as they are in fact ... in my opinion World Records...
By further defining how one goes about setting an International Record I
think we would find that Bonneville Is the Place to make that happen.... and
obviously we have to live within the constraints of Real world Traffic
control Problems on the Salt...... K
