Ahhh the Truth Be Told..... The Record.... Held by Steve Batchelor at
230.354 and we went 228.304 .... that having been said.... hmmm 2 + mph
difference.... and Yep that is Fairly fast.. damn near racey... only 15mph
short of Racey in Dave's opinoin
Fun was had by all....no doubt What hurts is the Truth in all of it... We
were out there with Average equipment and did as good as could be done...
Had I spent the 600 bucks on these new heads instead of running Old JUNK...
well maybe the outcome would have been different... or had I dry sumped the
Rodeck in the first Place I wouldn't have been worried about 4 miles an
hour... and we could have spent more time in impound and less out there in
the Cold working our butt's off trying to get something done that was about
impossible...
the one thing that is hard to put into words... is just how much I hate
loosing... or not doing what I set out to do...It just doesnt' set well
with me.... I can have a good attitude about all of it...and I am not a sore
looser... but I didn't go out there to go fairly fast...
One of the Best things about Dave is that he has the exact same attitude...
neither one of us will leave a Stone unturned ... we will both mull this
over and run it through our minds until we are sick of it.... Honestly I
think that is what it takes to win..... That and to never let your mistakes
go un-fixed... Brad is the same way... I try always to surround myself
with folks that don't share my opinoins.... and Winners...
Keith
