Yeah, I went to check the oil in my wife's 2015 BMW, no dipstick. I talk
into a mechanic I know and he told me they don't have them anymore. Later
on I bought a 2015 Mini Cooper s, again, no dipstick. The way you check the
oil on this one is you have to be on a perfectly flat surface with the card
operating temperature and running, then you step through the menu and
there's something on there about checking the oil it takes one or two
minutes and comes back and tells you how full it is. Personally, I think
the whole thing defies logic, the dipstick was easier. Plus, in a pinch,
you always had something to stick the marshmallows on at the fire pit.
