I think in this case "pressed" is English speak for "stamped" like in a
steel stamped part.

The dust cover is a disk with a lip that fits over the yoke on the
outside of the housing; i.e. it's not pressed into the housing.
I called this 'flange' and 'yoke' in a previous post, it's actually the
yoke and the dust cover that slips over it. They look like one part and
usually come off together.
