Hi Gary- Since you carry a spare SU pump why not go a step further and install it in a parrallel fashion with an individual switch for each pump. In our BJ8 use 2 Neg ground SUs mounted side by side with double fitting banjos on the original pump and fuel lines to the single banjo fittings on the additional pump. A little anti theft secret is is to put a on/off toggle switch to each pump.In that fashion you have the option of which one you wish to use or both if the case should arrise where you experience a vaccum block and need the additional pressure to pump the fuel to the carbs.
