It is still illegal to pump your own gas in New Jersey. And, go figure this,
gas in New Jersey is around 35-40 cents cheaper than in New York where you
MUST pump your self. So much for claiming that the labor cost of having an
attendant pump drives the cost up!

Many years back while travelling on the Jersey Turnpike, I stopped for
gas at a service area. At that time you could not pump your own gas.
While filling the tank the attendant noticed my club jacket and said "I
owned one of them Austin Harleys once!!". You have to love it.
