I've met more people who used to have "an uncle who had one of those"
than people I know on this list!
My favorite was when I was driving my BJ8 eight years ago in Vallejo,
CA, a guy pulls up next to me at a red light, in a 1981 white Lesabre
(imagine), and says to me "hey, is that a kit car?"
I love my country... the world's capital of spit-ball assumptions
being freely vocalized.
By the way, if you can believe it.... Vallejo CA is the town directly
south of Napa, world famous wine country and home to some of the most
famous celebrities in the world.
