I've used the GAZ shocks for my TR6 on the front and have been very happy
with them, and they're adjustable with out removing
https://bpnorthwest.com/triumph/shock-absorber-set-front-gaz-tr4a-tr6/
On the rear, because of the rules of my racing organization, we weren't
allowed to change the style of the shocks, so I sent mine to WorldWide Auto
parts
https://www.nosimport.com/Lever-shocks-remanufactured
and had them add the adjustable valve to them. If I remember correctly,
you'll have to call them for information, they don't list it on the website.
Also check that your axels don't bottom out, I had one bottom out on me
(broken rear bump stop) and it broke the u-joint and sent the axel twirling
around underneath and took out my fuel line.

Subject: [Fot] Koni vs Gaz vs Spax - TR6 racecar
Quick question (maybe?). I am replacing the existing Koni front adjustable
shocks (PN 80-1784). Bushings are worn out as likely are the shocks. Same
with the rear adjustable SPAX shocks on my '69 TR6 racecar. I am more
familiar with Bilstein, Koni and MCS.
Any preference? Spax and Gaz are unknown to me, but the external adjuster
is appealing compared to having to remove the Koni's every time I need to
adjust the suspension.
Using the "while I am in there" approach, I will be replacing all the
front/rear suspension bushings. Have purchased Nylatron bushings. Cannot
find Delrin products for TR6.
Thanks,
Mark Cook
