Hmm, when ever was a TR4 slower than a 356?
In Europe they are TR food.
MGS are about the same speed as a TR4.
S7 should be faster but not always they are.
I never met a Ginetta in a race.
The Porsches 911S and TS are hard to beat.
I bet that the bigger rims are an advantage but they might require to do
changes to the body work.
Fender flares aren't allowed in Europe.

There is a discernible difference between a 6" and 7" rim on a 205 series
tire. Any good driver (it's pretty common knowledge amongst the R-DOT SCCA
crowd) who has done testing will tell you this. However, a 7" rim would
help to make the TR4 more competitive against the Porshe 356's , the Kumho
/ Toyo shod MGBs and those pesky 1000lb Super 7's and Ginetta's <hint:
