Dan,
My first car had a setup like this. It used standard wing spacers (or
whatever they are called) with weld added on one side. That worked fine, but
it was a short runner intake. You have probably already addressed this but
just in case; the problem of cracking usually shows up with the use of the
long runner intake without support on the bottom like the original exhaust
manifold. You see some pretty creative gussets out there.
