And, of course, the latter is what the majority of our brothers from the UK
were running at MID-OHIO this past summer. WILWOOD and similar. They better
go fast, or it would really be embarrassing. TRIUMPHs equipped as such are
TRIUMPHs sort of like NASCARs are STOCK CARs...right? No problem. That's
the way racing has always been. And KUDOS to the HOT RODDERS that come up
with the go-faster tricks. That's what racing's all about. It gets a little
scary though when you are doing it with equipment that is 30-40 years old,
because of exposing the next weakest link. Every time I'm going through the
kink full bore at ROAD AMERICA, I think to myself...GEE, this car is
forty-six and I'm sixty-four...can we really do this?
