Stock R16s will idle down nicely as long as the needles and nozzles are in good shape and the state of tune is alright. The metering needles wear at the base in the idle area. The idle gets richer and richer causing it to load up and not want to idle. keith Do these issues with bad running at low idle apply to the 1600's with stock cams, head, and SU carbs as well?
