We're both right. Yes, it's up to each person to decide what they want to
do. Someone out there wants a project car like that. And every kind of
roadster deserves to be saved. With one frame-off restoration in progress, I
know how a project car can eat up your time. If you have the resources and
the time, go for it. I know this will upset some fans of the '67.5 2000, but
I'd rather have a project car based on other Datsuns that I consider rarer.
Like the late fifties through mid-sixties Datsuns including the 1500
roadsters. I've come across a lot of '67.5 2000's for sale over the last few
years to choose from.
