I believe the correct serial number for the car is 00038. engine number
00226. I have a photocopy of the original ID tag, although I somehow managed
to lose the tag itself. I sold the car a couple years ago and the owner
hasn't had the chance to do any work on it. he has chosen to offer the car
for sale again. I believe he actually paid me a couple hundred dollars more
for the car than he's asking for it. I felt the price was reasonable then,
still do. plan to do a rebody on the car. rear panel and RR quarter are
pretty good, had been replaced. missing correct air cleaner for the original
Solexes. missing license plate chrome trim. some state of dissassembly, but
pretty much all there. I hope to hook up a flatbed scanner this week, am
home from out of state for a couple weeks due to injury. have pix of the car
I can scan over for anyone once I get set up here. I have #531 up here, for
sale. not Solex equipped. asking around the same price. also have a Daimler
SP250 and a '61 Bentley divider window limo I'd consider parting with. both
need restoration. SP250 missing original engine.
