With Solex's, the "B" cam, and a relativley high 1st gear ratio, the stock 3.70 rear was clearly a mis match. The first thing I did when I got my Solex roadster back in '67 was to install the Nissan LSD with a 4.38 ring and pinion. It was an amazing change. Great off the line and still easy high speed crusing. (Its now equiped with a Detroit Locker and 4.62 gears) Jerry Krakauer SRL311 00099 |
