Well, yes, sort of.  The basic form of the DB7 is a pan and geometry
initially laid out by Jaguar, but the final product is for the most
part Aston Martin.  Details of who did what are presented in the Feb
95 Car & Driver. 

The DB7 will be mfd on the Jag XJ220 production line.

This may be poetic justice.  When Ford bought Aston Martin, they
immediately forbade any GP racing efforts by the company, even though
three cars had been prepared for that season.  Reason, of course, is
that Ford did not want to be competing against itself (Jaguar).  Now
it's Aston Martin's turn...

Droopy front?  Beauty, eyes of the beholder, etc.  The integration of
the classic Aston shark mouth into the DB7 front end is IMO one of its
finest qualities.  Balloons and blunderbusses at dawn, good sir....
