Sometimes its too easy to take things for granted isn't it?
You pay a lot per liter of fuel, too (comparitively speaking). I heard on the
news this morning that fuel costs will be going up about 5cents to the gallon
in many US states due to some cleaning additives or something. That'll be about
$1.25 per GALLON around here (north Alabama). Cheap, huh?

This is just a little comparison on the far side:
In Germany people have to pay more than US$ 12.50 per quart or liter
(more than 20DM) for synthetic motor oil ;-)
