Hmmm.  Sounds fishy to me.  The original HiPo engine in my Cobra didn't
have a vacuum advance either, but that doesn't mean it didn't have any.
It just worked solely off centrifugal force.  A fixed 37 degress is an 
awful lot of advance for low speed running.
