Presumably recovering from
the Vintage Sports Car Rendezvous in Grand Rapids Minnesota in June,
the Vintage Triumph Register convention in Rockford Illinois in July,
and the Lotus Owners Gathering in Saint Louis Missouri in August.
Each of these will have an autocross, the first two for the TR4 and the last
for the Lotus.
I didn't travel anywhere for car stuff in 2004.
Sue and I went to the Rendezvous in Thunder Bay in 2003. In 2002, we did
the VTR convention here, and I went to the LOG at Lake Geneva. Of course I
got a SECOND-place trophy at the autocross in each of these three.
And of course I will be autocrossing and hillclimbing the Lotus here in town
(Sue only lets me autocross her stock TR4 at conventions we attend
together), acting as a Director of the Minnesota Autosports Club continuing
as Permanent Numbers Czar for the Metropolitan Council of Sports Car Clubs,
and attending street-rod shows with Sue and the TR4.
Somewhere in there, I need to show up at my day job to pay for all this.
