The following is taken from the RD Racing website -
The "CROSS-BAR" mounts up high with mounting brackets
that prevent the bar from rotating and transfer the
strength of the bar into the framework of the car. The
bar is high enough to make sure that bracket flexing
is not an issue, but low enough to keep a clear view
in the rear mirror. It will not rotate due to the
bracket design.There are no modifications made to your
car, and the "Cross-bar" can be removed in
approximately 15 minutes.
The "CROSS-BAR" is made from 1-1/2" square medium
weight tubing and weighs approximately 14 lbs with
brackets and hardware.
The unique mounting brackets also place the bar in a
position so that the extra tall drivers may move their
seats back to a comfortable driving position.
Lists for $350, was in the car for about a year and
looks brand new. I have seen these in A-Stock
Corvettes. Asking $160 (shipping included)
