Now Eric, being a Rules Fearing, and Rules Abiding AutoX'r asks a very
valid question.
When my Neon's Cat was 'breached' by road debris those brilliant
!@#$%^(*&'s at Daimler Chrysler wanted $900 to replace it, not counting
labor. But a non-OEM replacement was $300 installed. Given that I'd
stopped AutoX'ing it a few years before made the choice pretty simple.
So does the aftermarket cat add any whoomp, or does this particular rule
exist to create Shareholder Wealth for Ford, DCX, and the rest?
