Me neither, it's hard enough to read them. This
thread has intrigued me enough to pick up the rule
book. IMHO, the SEB should consider adding something
to throw unclassified cars into AS, SS, or ASP based
on a three level cube/weight/intake system breakdown
(sorta like the SM limits) until they are classified.
If you throw them into AP or D or EMod, there are a
lot of "safety items" that would trip up a "stock"
car. Production classes may be affected by the 3000
per year manufacturing limit, also.
This is not the first I have heard this kind of
discussion and I just got back into this in '99. The
SIIR paragraph 3.2 says the SEB will classify a car as
soon as "sufficient information" is available. They
haven't, so are they breaking the rules??
