Okay, so at least one of the following must be true;
* there is a bigger market for performance lawn equipment than
cars
* the sanctioning body for mower racing is better at serving their
members ( in this case, obtaining sponsorship ) than the
SCCA
* the SCCA just doesn't want autocrossing on TV
