That's the FIA's idea of a "close finish," at least as
it pertains to F1.

I absolutely agree. I admire the technology in F1,
but the fact is that Winston Cup and CART provide much
better racing (how many lead changes were there at the
Michigan 500 again? Somewhere around 100, IIRC,
including unofficial changes before the S/F line).
Coupled with having cable service that doesn't carry
Speedvision (bad on AT&T Cable), that's why I watch
Winston Cup and CART most of the time.
