Ok, I'm confused...
From the June 4, 2000 FasTrack:
>ITEM 5: The SEB also approved separate SCAC recommendations to re-class

> Toyota MR2 S/C, from AS to BS
> VW Rabbit GTI, from ES to HS
> Nissan NX2000, from DS to ES
> Ford Mustang SVO, from FS to GS
> Chrysler Conquest, from FS to GS
> Mitsubishi Starion Turbo, from FS to GS
So, if the above changes were recommended to go into effect on 1/1/2001,
then why is an E30 M3 listed in GS at the 2000 National Championship?
Did the national staff make a mistake, or did a class impacting change get
made 3 weeks before nationals?
