And for awhile, more than a few rear-enders from folks overrunning
military convoys. There was an Army policy that you *never* put a Jeep as
the sweep vehicle (as is common nearly everywhere else) -- you hung the
"Convoy Ends" sign on a 5-ton truck, or better yet, an armored recovery
vehicle...those guys wouldn't find out a Mercedes hit 'em until they
stopped for lunch and found it stuck to the back end....
