I called a local sign shop and they wanted $40 for two sheets of blank
magnetic material (1'x2' each)
That's $10/square foot. (retch)

Here's what I did:

I went to http://www.beacongraphics.com/magnetic.html

and ordered 24" x 10' 30 mil thick white material for $32. That's
probably enough to make about 3-4 SETS of numbers, in your own personal
font/typeface. I think I paid about $5 for shipping, and I got it in
less than a week for less than $40 total. That's $2.00/square foot.
That's more like it. :-)

Personally, I didn't need all that material, so I cut it up into 2' x 2'
sections and sold four of them at an event for $10 apiece (still 1/4
what the sign place wanted - can you say hotcakes?) and so I got mine
for free.

If you do like I did, you could have free numbers too! No more excuses!
