You haven't offended anyone. The fact that you're
asking these questions before taking the plunge on
mods puts you light years ahead of most people. You
will probably find your best bet is to get the rule
book and read it thoroughly. The answers there are
far more accurate than you'll find on this list
anyway. :)
Advice? Keep it stock and get some seat time. When
and if you decide to modify it (or, better yet, get
another one to modify), you'll be _orders of
magnitude_ better prepared to build a competitive and
fun ride.
