At least NASCAR has fans. How many fans, butt-ugly or Pamela Lee
beautiful, do you see in the stands at an SCCA professional race on a
good day? 2000? 4000? versus over 100,000 for a NASCAR race. A friend
of ours, whose son races for A.J. Foyt in the IRL, calls us (SCCA road
racers) "Squat-to-Pee Racers". Might there be some truth to that?
