John---About six years ago I used a Borg & Beck driven plate with the
Laycock pressure plate. It worked out well. (Discounting all of the
throwout bearings that didn't last more than 1,000 miles)

more clutch question
With all the talk of problems with various clutch
brands, would there be any benefit to reusing my original laycock
housing with a new driven plate, and if so, what brand of driven plate?
Thanks again
