torque and a flimsy frame are the factors in my case

The key factor here is torque. The increase with the SC is approx 50% on
both HP & torque. The torque is what rips things apart. The PI motor is
listed at 141 lbs for the TR6 & 150 lbs for the TR250 @ 3,000 rpm. My
estimation would put a SC low compression motor at least equal to and maybe
closer to 160 lbs w/basic ign & timing improvements @ 6lbs of boost (sea
level). This torque is also generated at lower rpm's.
Add the power gains, old chassis that were marginal when new, your new found
lead foot and we have a recipe for failure.
Who cares, it's all worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
