When I try and start my 76 all I get is a nice clicking sound but the starter does not turn the motor. It feels like the bendix is thrusting out, but it doesn't even try to turn the engine. I tested the battery and it is fine. I also tried jumping the solenoid on the starter and it does the same thing. Does this sound like the starter relay or the starter itself. What else can I do to test it out? Thanks, Cary |
