Jim---The road wandering can be any or all of several items here.
1) Wider than stock tires, (but the 205's aren't really too wide)
2) The rain grooves cut into the road.
3) Front end alignment that is too close to "zero", giving the car a
choice as to where it wants to go. A little toe-in is better.
Since you can't do much to change the road surfaces you drive on, and
probably don't want to scrap the "wide" tires, I'd dial in more toe, up
to 1/8" and see what happens.
With the car parked, test that the wheels respond immediately to
steering input, in both directions. This will tell you if there's any
play thru the steering column, and thru the rack.
