Anyone have some tricks for getting old exhaust system components apart? I've
tried PB Blaster,
banging with a rubber mallet, heating with a propane torch, but no luck. I
guess the rust has formed a
kind of weld at each joint. I'm just trying to avoid cutting if I can.

Also, if I do have to cut it, is there a way to rejoin the pipes - maybe a
sleeve that both pieces can
slide into and be tightened? I can't swing a new exhaust at the
moment...transmission has to come
first.
