Is the TR250/TR4 front and door trim strip chrome or stainless? It doesn't have that old chrome tarnished or pitted look, just fine scratches and scuff marks. I tried the magnet test, and it is sensitive to a magnet, but I was told it could be plated with stainless, and if so the magnet test would not work. If it is plated with stainless, how do I clean it up -- just buff it? Have it replated in stainless? Where? I'm taking my chrome to Hanlon in Richmond VA (per FT), and I got the impression he could not handle stainless. Thanks Don |
