Skip,
A burette is a vertically mounted, graduated (usually in cc's) glass tube
with a dispensing valve at the bottom. It is typically used to accurately
dispense liquid as part of chemical analysis procedures.
Fortunately for me, I have a decoder ring and was immediately able to
decipher "DQOTD".
