Thanx to everyone that replied so quickly about the lift on the PI
camshaft. After reading a few comments that the cam could have been reground I
am a bit worried as the cam is already in the engine! Is there any way to check
the lift with the cam already installed? I don't remember seeing any notes on
the ends of it. I am looking to install roller rockers that Jim S. has, and
therefore want to be sure that they will work....and if not, what mods need to
be done. Thanx again

That's good to know!

I've had quite a few inquiries about the specs for the PI cam.

The cam in my 74' has a lobe lift of .240".

I checked the Cam in Al's 76' prior to installing his Rockers. His was
at .235.

It's good to know that the lift is nearly identical for the PI Cam. This
means that the 1.75:1 Roller Rockers will work with the PI Cam.

Best regards,

Brad:

The is the Triumph 150 HP PI cam.

Lobe lift is 0.250, which is about .360 at the valve, depending
on
your
rocker arm ratio. Lobe centers are at 105 degrees, and duration is rated
at
280 degrees, seat to seat timing.

Cheers,

Vance
