Mike---Most car companies improve their models over the years. Especially those who use their customers for some of their R&D, and I think Triumph was one of them! If so, then the '76 should be the best one. If you are in an area that must have emissions inspection regurlarly, then an earlier car might free you of this chore. All models can be "improved" to suit the owner. In any case, the for-sale condition of the car and the price you want to pay usually wins out. Dick '73 |
