Dick - thanks for the info. I checked the hole I cleaned fairly well, and did
a compressed air blow-thru. I'm going to assume this is it, and work on
putting the tranny back in Wed., and drive for a day or two without the cover
on, so I can see what's up etc. I think it also explains (your comments) why
occasionally it is a bit hard to shift; I thought last week it was heavy wt.
oil, but I'll check it out now..
