Perhaps, but I've checked the following reference books and none of the dash
pictures (5 pictures) showed a finger pull on the 250.  In fact, Piggott
says outright that the finger pulls were eliminated on the TR250/TR5 models
(although he was wrong about the glovebox having a light).  Also, I believe
my first dash was original and it didn't have one.

I'll grant you that the major suppliers show a pull in their catalogs, but
at least one (TRF) admits that it is "not needed" on the TR250.
