Skip,
If memory serves, the TR6 gearbox ratios for 4th non-OD and 4th OD are:.
4th gear, non-OD: 1.0 : 1.0
5th gear (4th gear + OD): 0.8 : 1.0 (or is it 1 : 0.8?)
I believe that the TR250 used the same ratios. Hope this helps.

Two silly questions:
1. How does that gear ratio compare to the fourth gear in overdrive and
non-overdrive TRs (I'm mostly interested in my TR-250, but will accept
ballpark numbers for any).
2. What transmission(s) will this work with? Looking back at #1, wouldn't
the various choices of transmission affect the final ratio?
Thx,
