| Subject: | Door Lock Installation - HELP!!! |

List, I'm at a new crossroad. I need to install the door lock cylinders in my '74 TR6. I have new thin gaskets. No matter what I do, I can't get the lock pressed in far enough to allow the lock arms to "spring" into position. Has anyone been through this exercise? I know they didn't have time to fool with installation on the assembly line so I'm sure there must be some trick. TIA, CHAD - CF15486UO - In the "Detail" assembly stage. |
