sell this usually says "not recommended for such & such". 

There's nothing wrong with the urethane bushings, if you're more
comfortable with them. You're going solid in the rack & pinion, you say.
I believe this gives more road shock feedback than you'll find from any
synthetic bushing package. The TR6 I drove with these felt more like a
TR4, or Spitfire. Kind of nice and firm.

Replacing any suspension part that was originally rubber with one that's
less compliant, right down to shortening the tire sidewalls, will add to
the overall responsiveness of the car. It can also make them a bit
noisier.  Some owners just like them soft, and that's OK too.
